The Coorslight brand site is the home of all online activity by the Coors brand. The site gives the users the opportunity to learn about the product and also compete in the numerous campaigns run by the brand. The site hosts two of the Coors successful campaigns ‘Destination Rocky Mountains’ and ‘Game Plan’.
Destination Rocky Mountains or DRM for short gave users to create teams in the competition and try get the most votes as possible to win a trip to the Rocky Mountains for them and their friends. The competition used the Facebook API to spread the competition virally.
Gameplan is campaign based around a series of games developed in Flash, applicants can play by themselves and as a team and the best scores for each game in the eerie can win prizes but their are also prizes for the overall winners throughout the series. Gameplan also used the Facebook API to manage the registration of the applicants for the campaign.
