For Christmas Heineken wanted to find out what its new and old customers favorite traditions were. They wanted them to share these traditions with Heineken and also with their family and friends. An app was developed for Facebook that gave users a chance to do this and also win a great prize.
The app was very simple and just asked each user to add their favorite tradition in less than 250 words and select 5 friends they wanted to share it with. Once all the data was entered correctly the would see a success message and their tradition added to the stream visible on the app. The best tradition was judged and this user was contacted.
